Rope Rescue Norway is hired for film and TV productions to provide professional safety, healthcare personnel and equipment.
Safety at film and tv productions is something that Rope Rescue Norway is experienced with and happy to be responsible for. We are a professional safety and healthcare crew with operational experience, and would gladly help out on your production. We also contribute to events, for example those involving ziplines or work along rivers.
Rope Rescue Norway offers safety at height, in trees, up under bridges, in the water, on the ice or on land, on steep slopes, on ziplines, and during stunts. We provide medics, fire preparedness and firefighting support, together with professional equipment and skilled personnel with extensive experience.
Your security – our task
Examples of tasks:
- Safety on the ice when film and location crews are going out on it
- Safety with personnel and equipment in rivers/water if something is to be filmed in or above it
- Safety at height where safety should be provided. Above 2 metres, safety equipment should be provided according to Norwegian regulations, and if needed we supply personnel to advise on or manage the safety
- Access when someone needs to be up under a bridge to do filming or a stunt – we can get the person back and forth safely and keep them secure while there
- Paramedics or nurses for a risky stunt (we can also provide an ambulance if filming takes place far from populated areas)
We have professional healthcare personnel with extensive experience in emergency medicine, so if there is a need for nurses, paramedics and ambulance personnel, we can provide that too, together with all necessary equipment and an ambulance.
